with the leading purchasing network, the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA),
ezIQC contracts are being expanded throughout Maryland for use by all public entities.
The solicitation is being promoted widely to encourage bids from the state’s best
contractors.

INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTING (IQCC) - STATE OF MARYLAND
The National Joint Powers Alliance® (NJPA) has issued an Invitation For Bid (IFB)
on behalf of, and to provide Indefinite Quantity Construction Contracting (IQCC)
services to NJPA, current and potential NJPA government, education, and non-profit
Members in Maryland. It is the intention of NJPA to award one contracts for General
Construction services in up to nine (9) geographic areas. Each contract has an initial
term of one (1) year and bilateral option provisions for three (3) additional one
year periods. The total term of the contract cannot exceed four (4) years.

IQCC also known as Job Order Contracting (JOC) is a construction contracting procurement
system that provides facility owners access to “on-call” contractors to provide
immediate construction services over an extended period of time.
Intending bidders are required, to attend a pre-bid seminar which shall be conducted
for the purpose of discussing the IQCC procurement system, the contract documents,
and bid forms. Attendance at one of the seminars is a mandatory condition of bidding.

submitting a bid and the bid documents may be obtained by letter of request to Gregg

mailing address, email address, contact name, and phone number.
Bids are due by 4:00 p.m. CDT on February 28, 2012 and will be opened at 9:00 a.m.
on February 29, 2012.
